From the movies to real life with a beautiful operation that goes on behind the scenes. Today we will be talking about one of the biggest events in the car community, FuelFest! FuelFest was created with the help of Cody Walker & Chris Lee, both co-owners of the event and both sharing a deep rooted love and passion for cars. FuelFest features Top Modified, Exotic, Performance Built, and Rare Cars from all over the world with fans and drivers alike to enjoy live drifting, drag racing and more. The idea came from Cody Walker who wanted to carry on the legacy of his late brother, Paul Walker. Paul was not only an actor known for his legendary role as the character “Brian O’Conner” in the Fast and Furious Saga but he also was a humanitarian, Friend, and most of all what I like to call one of the most influential figures in the car industry.
Paul started a nonprofit charity called ROWW (Reach Out World Wide) to help with disasters all over the world that has now raised over $400,000 and has had 65,214 Volunteered hours with over 2400 Volunteers. ROWW was taken over by Cody after Paul passed away to carry on the mission of helping others no matter what. Paul Walker stated “ When you put good will out there, it’s amazing what can be accomplished” and that’s exactly what he did. Now fast forwarding to the amazing festival named Fuel Fest and what it has to offer if you’re still on the fence.
From huge car showcases, guest appearances, drifting, concerts, food & drinks, art displays and more, I can guarantee you that wherever you look there will always be something to catch your attention at FuelFest. This amazing festival will be held at Irwindale Speedway in Los Angeles, California, where it all started back in 2001. General Admission is still available starting at $40 which is super affordable for anyone to attend! They also offer VIP experiences and registration so you can enter your own car from muscle to skylines and everything in between. You can also apply as a volunteer with different positions available for FuelFest. And the best part, it’s all ages! So please bring the little’s with you and teach them just how special the car community and helping others truly is rain or shine. You can visit there Instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/fuelfestuelfest) or their Website (www.fuelfest.com) to learn even more, buy tickets, or Volunteer.
