All Things Go has been a shining gem amidst the festival scene for many years now - a whole decade, even. The festival got its start at Union Market in Washington, DC, and has since moved to Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, where they have consistently booked some of the most exciting artists of each year and consistently continue to sell out. They’re known for booking favorites across the indie, pop, and alternative genres, with an emphasis on diversity and championing female and non-binary artists, having now partnered with Amplify Her Voice and Book More Women.
While the festival has historically been a highlight for the Delaware-Maryland-Virginia area, for their tenth anniversary, All Things Go has decided to bring their two-day event to New York City. To the delight of many, Forest Hills Stadium will host a pared-down version of Maryland’s lineup over the same weekend, September 28-29. Artists scheduled to perform include MUNA, Chappell Roan, Reneé Rapp, Samia, Holly Humberstone, Janelle Monáe, Julien Baker, Ethel Cain, Indigo De Souza, Del Water Gap, and several more. The lineup is unique in its lack of overlapping set times, meaning you don’t have to worry about choosing between two of your favorite artists performing at the same time. Notably, this year’s ATG NYC lineup is heavily woman-forward, with just one male artist on the entire roster. The festival is truly one for the “she’s and they’s,” and past attendees have commented on the welcoming, safe, and accepting environment the festival fosters, something that the music scene has been needing in recent years.
