If you're looking for some high-energy hard rock, look no further than Another Day Dawns! This incredible band got its start back in 2010 when drummer Nick McGeehan and guitarist Tyler Ritter decided to team up in their hometown of Lehighton, Pennsylvania. At first, they mostly covered classic rock tunes, but things started to take off when they brought frontman Dakota Sean on board. These three talented musicians quickly began writing their own original music and generating buzz across the Northeast Pennsylvania region.
Before long, Another Day Dawns had earned opening slots for some massive names in the rock world, including Fuel, Avatar, Sammy Hagar, Godsmack, Puddle of Mudd, Bad Flower, Trapt, Breaking Benjamin, 5 Finger Deathpunch, Daughtry, and Buckcherry. They even had the chance to accompany former Hinder frontman Austin John Winkler on his 2017 tour!
After signing with Century Media Records in 2022, Another Day Dawns has been on a whirlwind journey. The group has found themselves on all sorts of stages, from rehearsing in cramped spaces to recording music in the studio. Despite taking some time off, the group jumped back into touring and were surprised to find themselves on their first arena tour alongside Breaking Benjamin and Bush. Initially, the group experienced nervousness and anxiety as they dove into this new realm of stardom; however, those feelings quickly transformed into ambition and drive as they realized the enormity of the opportunity in front of them.
The group recently released a new single, "Hesitate," from their upcoming album "Finding Peace Through All The Noise," which is scheduled for release on October 6th. According to Dakota Sean, "Hesitate" delves into the struggle individuals face when attempting to accept the reality of their lives and relationships. It encourages people not to give in to temptation and instead take control of their lives. "'Hesitate is about the internal struggle we all deal with about coming to terms with the reality of your life and your relationships, rather than following the little devil on your shoulder," shared Dakota Sean. The song is a bold reminder of why Lehighton's four-piece ADD continues to generate buzz as one of the most exciting new rock bands. With driving hooks, memorable vocals, and tuneful dissonance, "Hesitate" builds on ADD's signature sound. Produced by Steve Sopchak (Ice Nine Kills, Motionless In White) and mixed by Jeff Dunne (Brand of Sacrifice, Ice Nine Kills), the track offers a glimpse into ADD's promising future in rock music.
Of course, even with all that creativity flowing, Another Day Dawns hasn't forgotten their fans, and the fans certainly haven't forgotten about them. They continue to play shows every week all across Northeast America, including some of their absolute favorite gigs at the Sands Event Center in Bethlehem, PA, PennsPeak in Jim Thorpe, PA, Musikfest Main Stage in Bethlehem, PA, Sherman Theatre in Stroudsburg, PA, Montage Mountain in Scranton, PA, and Wally's in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. So, if you're ready to rock out and have a great time, catch Another Day Dawns in action this fall with Atreyu, Memphis May Fire, and Catch Your Breath!
