Australian alt-rock brothers, Atlas Genius, released their new album, End of the Tunnel, on September 6. The album marks their first in nine years. It is said that the band has “put together a special recipe for the new collection of songs. Album ingredients: Love lost, guilt, passion, a dash of social commentary, existential crises, reckless abandon, and honest self criticism. May contain traces of lust.” You can listen to End of the Tunnel here. Exclusive vinyl variants of the album are available for purchase online and in stores, and a limited tangerine variant signed by the band can be purchased here.
To celebrate the release of End of the Tunnel, Atlas Genius will embark on their first tour in six years. The co-headlining tour with Robert DeLong also marks the 11th anniversary of their release of When It Was Now. The co-headliners will also be joined by supporting act Normal Behaviour. The tour kicked off September 8 in Chicago and will run through October 21 when the tour concludes in Los Angeles at the Echoplex. Tickets are available here.

About Atlas Genius:
The Jeffery brothers, Keith, Steven, and Michael, formed Atlas Genius in Australia in 2009 to help pay the bills when their father fell ill. A few years later, when their father was in better health, the band built a recording studio in their garage. It was in this studio that they recorded their debut album When It Was Now, which featured U.S. Alternative chart topping songs “Trojans” and “If So”. Through the span of their career, Atlas Genius has toured internationally with bands such as Weezer, Blink-182, Incubus, Silversun Pickups, The Neighborhood, Passion Pit, Imagine Dragons, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, and The Kooks, among others. They have played some of the most renowned music festivals, including Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Outside Lands, Bottlerock, Shaky Knees, and Life is Beautiful. The band has made appearances on prominent TV shows like those hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, James Corden, Conan O’Brien, David Letterman, and Jay Leno. The band’s current members include brothers Keith Jeffery (vocals, guitar), Michael Jeffery (drums), and Steven Jeffery (synth/keys), along with Dave Green on guitar.
