Bilmuri's Sold Out Show at Tannahill's Music Tavern

On September 6, 2024, band Bilmuri (Johnny Franck, formerly from Attack Attack!), had fans from all over Fort Worth, Texas, lined up outside Tannahill's Music Tavern for an exciting sold out show. The line wrapped around the restaurant next door with more than eager fans, and nearby on lookers were confused as to whom we were all waiting to see. With support from the highly energetic band known as 408, both bands had the venue packed from wall to wall. 408 opened with incredible force and liveliness, establishing a well rounded stage presence and camaraderie with the crowd. These Florida boys knew how to embrace the 'yeehaw' spirit of Texas. Their cover of "Mr. Brightside," along with their original song (and my personal favorite), "We Don't Get High Like We Used To," were the best moments of their set.

Bilmuri, and I quote directly from their Instagram page, is a deathcore/ambient/post-jazz band from 'MURICA. That's not something you hear everyday or expect to see a sell out in the Stockyards. Nevertheless, they brought a compelling show and delivered with their performance. From the crazy lights, to the immensely talented Gabi Rose on the saxophone and flute, to a jam packed set list (including one of their best, "Corned-Fed Yetis"), this was an unforgettable show. They have just a few days left on their American Motor Tour:

9/10 Orlando, Florida @ The Plaza Live

9/12 Atlanta, Georgia @ Masquerade-Heaven Stage

9/13 Nashville, Tennessee @ Brooklyn Bowl

If any of these shows are near you, don't miss out on a truly amazing experience!
