The tracklist of All's Well That Ends Well includes iconic songs that have left a lasting impact on the post-hardcore genre and beyond. From the grooves of "All Nereids Beware" to the anthemic "Baby, You Wouldn't Last A Minute On The Creek," each track showcases Chiodos' distinctive sound and emotional depth. The album's interludes add an extra layer of storytelling, enhancing the overall narrative and atmosphere.

As their breakout release, All's Well That Ends Well is defining album in Chiodos' long-lasting career, that stands as a testament to the band's raw talent and innovative approach to the post-hardcore genre. First airing in 2005, this seminal work has since become a cornerstone of the genre, captivating audiences with its emotive lyrics, dynamic instrumentation, and captivating storytelling, not to mention its punchy yet playful titles that scream "nostalgic 2000's emo album."

All's Well That Ends Well encapsulates listeners with its eclectic mix of heavy guitar riffs, intricate drum patterns, and soaring melodies, all anchored by the powerful vocals of frontman Craig Owens. Tracks like "Expired in Goreville" showcase the band's technical prowess and ability to seamlessly blend aggression with melody, not to mention it's my favorite off the tracklist.

"Expired in Goreville" is, simply put, a tour de force, featuring a blend of heavy guitar riffs, frenetic drumming, and atmospheric synthesizers that make the track ahead of its time for the 2005 post-hardcore scene. The song opens with haunting effects, setting a somber mood before erupting into a barrage of aggressive instrumentation. The juxtaposition of softer, melodic passages with intense, hard-hitting sections creates a sense of tension and release, mirroring the complexity of the poetic song lyrics which can easily be enervated by the skillful instrumentalists. Guitarist Jason Hale's intricate riffing and drummer Derrick Frost's thunderous rhythms drive the song forward with relentless energy, while keyboardist Bradley Bell adds layers of textures and atmosphere with his synthesizer work.

Chiodos' debut album is a testament to the band's creativity and musical prowess, earning them a dedicated following and critical acclaim. With its vinyl re-issue and their upcoming performance at When We Were Young Festival, Chiodos continues to captivate audiences and solidify their legacy as pioneers of post-hardcore music.
