On August 9, 2024, Fame On Fire released their newest single "Nothing Left (The Fool)" and this song is not your typical Fame On Fire song. It's so emotional and aggressive at the same time. The song holds a huge meaning behind it and I am here for it. If you have been in a toxic situation where in your heart you know it's not good for you, but you still decide to stay even though you already know the outcome, this song is for you
"It's obvious we're fading; There's nothing left worth saving". This is how I interpret these lyrics; I read this lyric and automatically assumed that the relationship this person is in is fading away, meaning there could be distancing occurring and no more emotional connection. And you know deep down the relationship is not worth saving anymore, but something holds you from completely cutting this unhealthy situation out of your life.
"What we have is dangerous ; I hate it ; Knowing that Im the fool ; you'll never know it." With these lyrics, I can sense that the person knows the situation they are in is very toxic and they realize that which makes them hate the whole thing because they KNOW it's only going to end badly. And they call themselves a fool in the chorus because they know they need to let go, but I feel like they want to keep holding on to see if things will change
This is what Bryan Kuznitz (Vocals) had to say about the newest release, "'Nothing Left (The Fool)' is one of the most riff-filled and emotionally aggressive songs we have ever released. It's a song about knowing that the situation you are in isn't healthy for you, but you stick around regardless, as it fails and ends up hurting you more. I think our fans are going to really connect to this one. It isn't a typical Fame on Fire song and that is what we love about it."
