Gorgatron’s Mechanical Necrosis Tour brings a collection of bands from all over the U.S. Scum from El Paso, Texas, Voraath from Asheville, North Carolina, Casket Robbery from Madison, Wisconsin, and Gorgatron from Fargo, North Dakota. A great blend of metal style, each bring their own regional culture to the tour.
SCUM
Based out of El Paso, TX is a four-piece grindcore band that started in 1990 but after a few years they disbanded until the original singer and drummer, in 2018, decided to get back together and bring in a few members from other local bands. So, they are maybe a young band, but they have a house full of seasoned veterans.
The solid guitar riffs and thumping drumbeats bring the stage alive blending in strong vocals that tell you a story as the bass brings it together. These guys are professional, precision artists but also like to have fun on and off the stage. They have one digital album out called, “Grind Session” that has nine amazing songs on it.
You can find their music at the following locations:

VORAATH
An experimental death metal band that takes it to another level, their style is futuristic post-apocalyptic, telling a story, with each song building the story from start to finish. The stories speak of the emotions and feelings that we experience if we were placed in that situation and had to deal with it.
Lead singer Chelsea Marrow, a petite soft spoken innocent looking girl opens her mouth and belts out a song with gravelly throat crushing vocals, telling us a story with the drummer and composer Joshua Nassaru Ward singing in a finely tailored ethereal voice creating a mysterious world undertone. Tylor Kohl guitarist, and Paul McBride, bass player instrumentals set the mood and stir up the emotion as the story is being told.
Their latest album released June 2024, “Volume 1: Hymn of the Hunter,” which can be purchased and streamed at the following location:

CASKET ROBBERY
Coming from the Midwest, Casket Robbery brings their own unique signature style of death metal by infusing horror and occult themes in their songs. Their super strong riffs combined with hard driving bass lines support lead singer Megan Orvold's creative vocal storytelling.
In June of 2024 Casket Robbery released their latest single, “The Lacryphagist.” This is their first single they have released since the release of their last album in 2022, “Rituals of Death.” The lyrics are inspired by stories of Victorian tear vials, and the idea of this creature that feeds off human tears and collects them in various states of emotion. Continuing the horror and gory theme of their work, they are ready to bring in even darker and richer gory subject matter to their future work.

Gorgatron was formed in 2006 with their first album, “Torturtorium,” released in 2010. In June 2024 they released their 4th album, “Sentience Revoked,” this new album comes out continuing their upward trajectory of brutality and riff mastery. They performed songs from this album, “Divulgence,” “Conduit of Pain,” and "Omnipotent Error.”
Gorgatron has performed along with greats like “Testament,” “Anthrax,” “The Black Dahlia Murder,” plus multiple death metal festivals across the U.S. This year Gorgatron is pushing their death metal style to new heights and soon their music will be heard around the globe.
