Ricochet is an American country music band from Oklahoma formed in 1993. Ricochet was signed to a recording contract with Columbia Records in 1995. Their self-titled first album was released in 1997 which included their chart-topping, gold-selling single “Daddy’s Money.” This opened the door for over 25 years of hits from one gold album, two number-one chart holders, three top tens, and six top 40 hits. The ACM award-winning 90s country vocal group this last year has signed on with Encore Music to produce a new album, the first album in 12 years to be released later this year.
Heath Wright–Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar & Fiddle is the only original member of the band, he is blessed to be able to live his dream and bring their music to every town in the U.S. Heath and his family live on a ranch in Oklahoma and perform on weekends. Now, more than thirty years later, “The Hardest Working Band in Country Music” is still going strong. The band continues to create great country music, sung with the distinctive harmonies that are their hallmark. They log thousands of miles on the road each year thrilling audiences of all ages across the United States and abroad.
The concert started with a soundtrack of all their hit songs, they walked on the stage and
started playing as the crowd cheered, a few of the audience members jumped up and started dancing as the band went through a lineup of some of the greatest hits of the 90s which included songs like “Seven Bridges Road”, and “Can’t Stop Thinkin’ ‘Bout That”. During the concert, they stopped and with a red solo cup shot glass gave tribute to the late great, Toby Keith. They wrapped up their performance with an extended version of “Daddy’s Money” which included all the members of the band playing multiple forms of drums and a cowbell. They truly are the hardest-working band in country music.
