It was a hot day July 27, 2024, and Hardy was set to take the stage at Credit Union 1 Amphitheater in Tinley Park, Illinois. Hardy would be preparing to perform the  last night of his “Quit!!” tour. Fans lined up outside of the amphitheater with pure excitement and looking good in their show outfits. Hardy’s merchandise truck was parked just outside of the gates. Fans lined up to take their photo in front of the merchandise truck as Hardy’s name was plastered on the side of it displaying colors of tan, browns and blacks. Along with the words “Quit!! Tour” on each side of Hardy’s name.

As the gates to Credit Union 1 opened fans conquered security check points and piled inside the amphitheater beginning to grab their alcoholic beverages, merchandise, and locating their seats. The amphitheater was packed with Hardy fans and by this time the box office was sold-out of seat upgrades for the show. At 7:25p.m. The lights dimmed and Travis Denning took the stage. As this writer does not like to minimize musicians titling them as “openers” as their performance is just as important as the headlining artist. Travis did take stage to start off the evening. The crowd went wild and those inside of the GA pit were holding up their hands reaching for Travis and screaming as he approached their side of the stage. Travis interacted with fans grabbing their hands and even taking to a knee to sing to fans that stood at the foot of the stage! Travis’ drummer rocked out while his bassist frequently walked out to center of the stage with Travis while playing the guitar, and at one point even took a second in the spotlight. Travis Denning is a country music artist from Nashville, TN. He has charted with singles such as “After a Few” and “God’s Country.” This Tinley Park Crowd loved Travis. As Travis made his exit from the stage the crowd cheered and scurried off to grab their drink refills and some fans lined up at the merchandise booth to grab some Travis Denning apparel! Within a few a quick twenty minutes fans proceeded to return to their seats as they prepared themself for the next  artist to perform  that artist being Kip Moore! As this writer was unable to watch Kip Moore’s performance due to unforeseen circumstances, this writer did however provide active listening as Kip excited the crowd with his enthusiastic performance and deep vocals.

The stage crew scurried around the stage prepping the set up for Hardy! Fans rushed to their places, and the crowd went mad as lights flashed and music played through the speakers. A grayscale image appeared on a giant screen behind the set. It was Hardy appearing at a close up angle and singing into his mic. The music was intense. He rapped an entire song prior to entering onto the stage. The fog grew heavy and fire fumed in the background! Hardy appeared before the crowd, the said screen flashed with images and a bit later a roar of excitement took over Credit Union 1. The crowd continued to scream at the sight of Hardy. They threw their hands up in the air and even brought out their fan signs in hopes Hardy would notice them. Hardy performed with high energy. He ran to stage left, and right he was periodically jumping up and down while singing, and pumping his microphone in the air. Hardy proceeded to interacting with his band members. Hardy’s vocals live are full, and powerful. His vocal’s resemble what is heard on the Radio but better when listening in person! “HARDY!” “HARDY!” The crowd yelled to him. Hardy performed his song "Quit," "Rockstar," "Kill Sh! T Till I Die," "Jack, Boots," and "Happy Hour." Hardy brought out Travis Denning to perform with him in his song "Southern Rock." Again the crowed went wild at the site of Travis.

Around this time during the show, this writer had proceeded to exit the venue to head home a little early due to unforeseen circumstances. As the performances through the night were absolutely phenomenal and are worth seeing over again, this writer could not stay to continue to enjoy the show experience. This writer however, did not leave before grabbing a nearly sold out Hardy Quit!! Tour T-shirt. This writer had to try three different merchandise booths that were set up throughout the Credit Union 1 amphitheater in order to find this shirt available in the correct size. Upon speaking with the workers at Hardy’s merchandise table this writer was Informed that those shirts were nearly sold out as it is, and due to it being Hardy’s last night of his Quit!! tour no additional merchandise was added to the stock to be made available on site at the Credit Union 1 amphitheater. It is safe to say that this last minute T-Shirt grab was worth walking around the 235,500 square foot amphitheater for!

As this writer thanked the staff working at the Merchandise booth and proceeded to locate the car, Hardy’s set was loud enough to be heard outside of the venue. Hardy was singing his song “Wait In The Truck” by the time this writer officially exited the Credit Union 1 Amphitheater campus.
