Iconic indie rock band Les Savy Fav has returned with their first album in over a decade, OUI, LSF, out now via Frenchkiss/The Orchard. The release of this eagerly awaited LP marks a significant milestone for the band, known for their eclectic sound and high-energy performances.

The journey to OUI, LSF began with the single "Legendary Tippers," the band's first new music in 14 years, released earlier this year. This track set the stage for the album, generating excitement among fans and critics alike. Since then, Les Savy Fav has continued to build momentum with a series of singles and music videos, collaborating with notable artists and animators.

To celebrate the release, Les Savy Fav will appear on Late Night with Seth Meyers on May 15, followed by a live performance at the Music Hall of Williamsburg on May 16. This appearance is just one highlight in a string of events designed to reintroduce the band to their dedicated fanbase and attract new listeners.

It's been over ten years since Les Savy Fav released Root for Ruin in 2010. During this time, the band members - Tim Harrington, Seth Jabour, Syd Butler, Harrison Haynes, and Andrew Reuland - have pursued various personal and professional endeavors. Despite these individual journeys, their bond remained strong, leading to the creation of OUI, LSF.

Tim Harrington, the band's frontman, describes the process of creating the new album as a journey of reconciling their past selves with their current lives. The band members balanced personal responsibilities with their creative ambitions, ultimately finding a way to merge their experiences into a cohesive and innovative project. The album was recorded in Harrington's Brooklyn attic, a space he transformed into a makeshift studio, providing a unique environment that influenced the album's organic growth.

OUI, LSF is a testament to Les Savy Fav's enduring creativity and resilience. The album opens with "Guzzle Blood," a track that sets a dynamic tone for the 14-song suite. Harrington describes it as capturing a sense of disillusionment and anguish, themes that resonate throughout the album. The band's eclectic musical tastes are evident, resulting in a record that blends ghostly bops, ruminations on love and loss, and wild, debauched nights.

In addition to their upcoming shows in Europe, Les Savy Fav has announced new U.S. tour dates, including a performance at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago on July 21. Here are the full tour dates:
