This is what the band had to state about the song; "Put simply, 'Burn Scar' is a song about resisting the barriers society has instilled in us in favor of showing each other love and compassion," the band says. "It's a sincere hope that we have the courage to accept our faults, learn from them, and to nurture not only each other's friendships and community, but where we also inhabit before it's too late."
