On July 12th, 2024, Lou Phelps, Canadian rapper and producer, released his EP Top Z featuring six tracks! Here is the link to check out Top Z!
"Tell Nobody" is one of the tracks and it gives me nostalgia for old rap music back in 2009. "Check Check Freestyle" might have very vulgar lyrics, but I actually enjoyed it! Usually, I don't really like this genre, but Phelps executed each song very well and I sat down and listened to the whole EP several times to be able to give my full opinion. Each track is unique and doesn't sound the same compared to most rap songs, which is why I liked this EP. If Phelps came to South Carolina, I would most likely come to the event to be able to hear this EP live. On August 16th, he will be performing at London's All Point's East Festival with KAYTRANADA headlining with other supports such as Channel Tres, Thundercat, Tems, and more!
