Make Them Suffer releases new single "Oscillator"

On August 8, 2024, metalcore band Make Them Suffer released their newest single "Oscillator" with a video along side it! As well as announcing a new full length album that will be released November 8 via Greyscale Records in Australia and SharpTone Records for the rest of the world! This song has became one of my favorite songs of 2024. I was not expecting this song to be that GOOD. This song represents mental health and how social media impacts everyone negatively. We do have an addiction to social media and being glued to our screens every single day. The second we wake up we decide to scroll on Facebook or TikTok. That's a huge problem and everyone is noticing this addiction. The addiction may seem harmless at first, but constantly being on social media and being consumed by wishing your life could be like someone else's or you see someone living your dream, your mental health does get affected. "'Oscillator' is more than just a song about screen addiction; it delves into the profound impact this addiction has on mental health. As we become more reliant on this constant source of stimulation, our baseline joy and excitement for life in general becomes lowered. I believe we are currently facing a mental health crisis, largely attributable to screen addiction. The decision to self-title our latest record was a significant one. It stands as an authentic representation of the band's sound. We loved our band name in the early years, however, through all these years of growth, we believe the songs on this album are the best representation of 'Make Them Suffer' as a name and, more importantly, as our vision for the band. The album represents years of growth, evolution of sound, and is a 'full circle' representation of that vision."
