Metalcore giants Memphis May Fire continue their relentless assault on the scene with the release of their latest single, "Infection," complete with an intense new music video. The band, comprising Matty Mullins (vocals), Kellen McGregor (guitar), Cory Elder (bass), and Jake Garland (drums), has made a name for themselves with their ferocious sound and "Infection" is no exception.

The new track is a rollercoaster of emotions and sonic textures, blending haunting synths with powerful melodic verses, explosive choruses, and devastating breakdowns that are sure to ignite mosh pits across the globe. The song's lyrics delve into the pain of betrayal, likening the spread of toxicity in one's life to a virus.

Frontman Matty Mullins shares, "'Infection' dives deep into the pain of betrayal and the toxicity that can spread like a virus. This song is about recognizing the destructive forces in your life, calling them out, and reclaiming your power. It's not just about surviving the infection; it's about emerging stronger, with the scars to prove it. This track captures the intensity of feeling used and manipulated, and the resolve to no longer be a victim to someone else's venom."

"Infection" follows a series of hard-hitting releases from Memphis May Fire, including "Chaotic," "Paralyzed," and "Necessary Evil." The band's momentum shows no signs of slowing, with more new music expected in 2024 and beyond.

To support their latest release, Memphis May Fire will be hitting the road alongside Asking Alexandria, bringing their electrifying live shows to fans across the United States. The tour kicks off on September 24 in Sioux Falls, SD, and will make stops in major cities such as Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles before wrapping up in Chico, CA, on November 2.
