The streets of Minneapolis, Minnesota, pulsed with purple hues this June as fans descended upon the city for the eighth annual Prince Celebration. This year's event held a special significance, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of Prince's iconic album Purple Rain.
From June 20 to 24, the celebration transformed Minneapolis into a living tribute to the Purple One. Fans were treated to a variety of Purple Rain-themed programming throughout downtown Minneapolis and Paisley Park, Prince's legendary estate.
The event showcased captivating performances by esteemed artists such as Morris Day, members of Prince's bands New Power Generation and The Revolution, alongside emerging talents and local favorites, all illustrating the enduring influence of Prince's musical legacy. Music was the undeniable heart of the celebration.
