Modest Mouse has announced an exciting co-headline tour with the legendary Pixies, featuring special guest Cat Power. This tour marks the third and final leg of Pixies' 2023 North American tour, kicking off on August 20 at the Stone Pony Summerstage in Asbury Park, New Jersey, and wrapping up in mid-September in California. More dates will be announced soon, but tickets for the initial shows are on sale now sine March 1. Tickets can be purchased HERE.

Having recently completed a sold-out 25th anniversary tour for their breakthrough album, The Lonesome Crowded West, Modest Mouse continues to solidify their status as one of the most dynamic live acts in the music scene today. The band's latest album, The Golden Casket, released on June 25, 2021, via Epic Records, heralds another new chapter in the GRAMMY® Award-nominated, multi-platinum ban's unpredictable evolution. Produced by Dave Sardy and Jacknife Lee in Los Angeles and Modest Mouse's studio in Portland, the album explores themes ranging from the degradation of our psychic landscapes and invisible technology to fatherhood. The twelve tracks are a blend o raw punk power and experimental studio science, reflecting frontman Issac Brock's introspective and often surreal songwriting.
Pixies, composed of Black Francis (guitar/vocals), Joey Santiago (lead guitar), David Lovering (drums), and, their latest addition, Emma Richardson (bass), are acclaimed as one of the most influential and pioneering bands of the late '80s alt-rock movement. Their signature "louquietloud" sound has left a lasting impact on a plethora of artists, including Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Radiohea, The Strokes, and Weezer. With eight genre-defining studio albums under their belt, including the Gold-certified "Surfer Rosa" and the iconic Platinum "Doolittle," Pixies continue to attract sell-out crowds globally with their electrifying live performances. Their concerts are known for their spontaneity, with the band playing anything they want, in whatever order they choose, creating a unique experience every night.
