Portland-based band Old Cross is back with their latest single, "The Attic," a powerful exploration of existentialism wrapped in poetic verses and intense melodic choruses. This release is a precursor to their upcoming album, "Dead End Lullabies," set to drop on October 25.

Drawing influences from iconic bands like AFI, The Used, and Alkaline Trio, Old Cross channels the best of the 2000s melodic punk scene while adding their unique touch. Known for their high-octane hybrid sound, the three-piece band fuses ‘90s/‘00s California-style punk-pop with darker melodic hardcore, creating a distinctive musical experience.
Frontman Chris Hahn shares that "The Attic" was written a decade ago following the loss of a close friend and has found its place on the new album, which reflects the last three years of his life after his father's passing. This emotional depth, combined with the band's signature blend of power and melody, makes "The Attic" a standout track.
Old Cross has previously released a self-titled EP in 2018 and their full-length album "Daggers" in 2020 through Zomie! Media Records. With "Dead End Lullabies," they continue to evolve and push the boundaries of their sound.
Be sure to check out "The Attic" and mark your calendars for October 25 when "Dead End Lullabies" hits the shelves. For more updates and information, follow Old Cross on their social media channels.
