Unitcode Machine
UnitCode: Machine is a two-person industrial, dark electro group. Eric Kristoffer the creator, calls himself a crooner from Dallas, Texas with an electric twist. When I met the two at their merchandise table you could have mistaken them as insurance salesman. I was surprised when they jumped on stage and the guitarist kicked around banging out highlighted sounds while moving from side to side of the stage. With computer-generated music coming from the laptop behind him. They matched perfectly with the mood of the venue. Kristoffer’s lyrics were crisp and strong and flowed with the music. With club beats and hard-driving lyrics, the two sounded like they had a full stage of musicians. If I was in a town where they were playing again I would go, they were not what I expected but I loved what they had to say and do on stage.

Dead Animal Assembly Plant
From Portland, Oregon, comes energy from the center of the earth roaring on the stage, dressed in post-apocalyptic this group owns the stage while they are there. Zach Wagner drives the ship to parts unknown, with his wife Rebecca Wagner at the guitar helm, pounding on heavy gothic industrial sounds. Every song you feel like some crazy monster is coming out of the speakers.
In a description on their webpage, Sweet Meats Slaughterhouse remained eerily quiet and vacant, until one night, horrible noises resembling music emanated from the dank hallways. The Dead Animal Assembly Plant was formed from the dust of the dark, musty empty hallways of the slaughterhouse. Their performance is an experience, your life will be changed from the moment you hear the first note.

CombiChrist
CombiChrist is an aggrotech/industrial metal band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2003. Norwegian vocalist Andy LaPlegua formed the band. The band played with several different styles of music from techno to alternative dance sounds. CombiChrist got a hot start with their first EP in 2006, “Get Your Body Beat” which featured two tracks “This Shit Will Fuck You Up” and “This Is My Rifle.” The title track “Get Your Body Beat” was their first single to hit the Billboard Top 10 Dance Singles chart.
Around 2016, they had by then released up to eight albums. The band changed their sound to more of a metal rock and has continued on that track to the present. In 2024 they are getting ready to release their new album, “CMBCRST,” their encore song for the night was “Violence Solves Everything 2”
The band played a variety of songs from across their careers from “Blut Royale,” "Get Your Body Beat,” and “Modern Demon” giving us a good range of music. The crowd was up against the barriers jumping and shouting from the moment they stepped on stage, LaPlegua took command of the night with powerful lyrics and a booming voice.
Go look up CombiChrist if you have never heard of them, or if you are being re-introduced to them, they are still going strong and are a must-see band for 2024.
