San Jose California-based band Peach Tree Rascals released their new track "Come Around" on June 28. The Peach Tree Rascals originally bursted into the scene in 2020 with their single "Mariposa." The song caught the hearts of many during the pandemic appearing in over 1.6 million different videos on the social network TikTok. After releasing their first EP, the Peach Tree Rascals have been rocking it in Europe and Asia as they gained international success. Now they are back touring in the States as well as releasing four new singles with "Come Around" and "Airplane Window" being the most recent.
"Come Around" comes out conveniently towards the end of their North American Tour, The Rascals hope their success from their North American tour continues flowing into the new track. The track is light and happy, and the lyrics encapsulate the beauty of summer love. "I look up and you're there, watch the summer wind run through your hair" and "How'd I get so lucky the stars have aligned now my world is complete." The Peach Tree Rascals lyrics are set up perfectly to get stuck in your head while on a summer drive.
"Airplane Window" is extremely groovy from the start. The drums instantly stand out throughout the track and the vocals come in soft dancing over the synths. We also see a rap section of the song too. Being released first, "Airplane Window" truly shows off their musical talent. The band called "Airplane Window" "a sonic manifestation of the sun-soaked world" and with "Airplane Window" and "Come Around" being their third and fourth singles of 2024, fans are excited to see the band's evolution since their debut album which came out in 2021.
With their 19-stop tour which touched down in Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Denver, Salt Lake City, Toronto, and Washington D.C. fans of the band just got a dose of Peach Tree Rascals, however with "Come Around" releasing on the last day of the tour it's clear that Peach Tree Rascals have more music for us in store.
