BLUE ÖYSTER CULT

Get ready to crank up the volume and let the haunting melodies of BLUE ÖYSTER CULT’s new album, ‘Ghost Stories,’ echo through the corridors of rock history. The legendary rockers have unleashed a fresh single, “Cherry,” that’s as ripe and explosive as the name suggests. Accompanied by a lyric video that’s sure to mesmerize, this track is just a taste of the spectral feast awaiting fans on Frontiers Music Srl.

After half a century of setting the stage ablaze, BLUE ÖYSTER CULT isn’t just celebrating their golden anniversary—they’re writing a new chapter that promises to be as thrilling as their iconic cowbell clangs. ‘Ghost Stories’ isn’t just an album; it’s a time capsule bursting with reimagined and completed songs that span the years 1978-2016. These are the ‘lost gems’ that die-hard fans whispered about, the tracks that were once consigned to the shadows, now stepping into the spotlight.

From the workshopping albums to performance rehearsals, every note was recorded with the hope that someday they’d shimmer in the ears of listeners worldwide. And now, with ‘Ghost Stories,’ that day has come. The album features the only known recorded performance of “Kick Out the Jams,” a cover that’s sure to kick out your speakers with its raw energy.

The partnership with Frontiers Music Srl and the visionary Serafino Perugino has fans on the edge of their seats. The studio work, a symphony of past and present, saw Richie Castellano joining forces with original members Eric Bloom and Donald “Buck Dharma” Roeser. Drum legends Albert Bouchard and Rick Downey lay down the beats, while Joe Bouchard’s overdubs add layers of depth to the album’s rich tapestry.

George Geranios, the maestro behind the band’s golden era, has woven his magic once more, producing tracks that were originally recorded on the warm, hissing reels of analog tape. In a dance of old meets new, these recordings were transferred to digital, where modern AI and musical wizardry breathed new life into them. The result? A collection of vintage tracks de-mixed, re-mixed, and produced by Steve Schenck and Richie Castellano, culminating in the masterpiece that is ‘Ghost Stories.’

So, what are you waiting for? Dive into the album that’s been decades in the making. Discover the easter eggs, relive the classics, and let BLUE ÖYSTER CULT’s ‘Ghost Stories’ haunt your playlist. It’s not just an album—it’s a resurrection of rock ‘n’ roll spirit that refuses to fade away.

Experience the magic, the mystery, and the music of ‘Ghost Stories’—out now!
