Sleep Theory, the breakout four-piece rock band, is making waves in the music industry with their Paper Hearts EP, now available via Epitaph Records. The EP has already amassed over 33 million streams, and the music video for their hit single "Fallout" continues the end-of-the-world theme seen in the previous video for "Numb." The music video features intense performance footage colliding with equally intense apocalyptic imagery, which fits the song's urgency beautifully.
The band is thrilled with the music video and said, "Creating 'Fallout' was a very personal for us, and seeing the music video come to life was surreal. The emotion in the track is something we poured our hearts into, and we're thrilled that it resonates so powerfully with our fans. [Director] Orie [McGuiness] took our vision and elevated it beyond expectations. The way the music video captures the essence of the song is amazing. We truly couldn't have asked for a better visual representation for this song."
Sleep Theory's Paper Hearts EP features two buzzy singles — "Numb" and "Gone or Staying" — and the songs have established Sleep Theory as one of the most exciting and talked about artists of 2023. Loudwire praised the band for its ability to "adapt 2000s arena rock and nu-metal for the future with their anthemic metal-tinged sound that would please any fan of Linkin Park and their ilk. At once enthralling, emotional, and disarming, Sleep Theory's supercharged single 'Numb' is everything a radio rock fan could want. You'll be humming it for days after."
With further press coverage from American Songwriter, Billboard, Celebrity Access, Punktastic, and beyond, and major nods from SiriusXM's Octane, Sleep Theory has had a massive 2023 and is gearing up for an even bigger 2024. They are set to embark on a 40-date tour with Beartooth, The Plot In You, and Invent Animate in Winter 2024. The band has toured with everyone from Shinedown to Set It Off, shared stages with I Prevail and Badflower, and has appeared at Louder Than Life, Rock Fest, ShipRockled, and Point Fest. They also count Jellyroll and Disturbed David Draiman as fans.
The band's popularity continues to soar, with monthly listeners having more than doubled in the past three months, and their YouTube channel views have tripled. They are averaging 1.5 million streams per week, while "Numb" is sitting at No. 16 on the Active Rock chart and continues to climb. The track was No. 1 on Sirius XM Octane, while the band was the first rock artist included in SiriusXM/Pandora's Artist Accelerator program and will be a part of the Next Wave Concert Series this month.
Sleep Theory's music video for "Fallout" is a must-watch for fans of the band and those who love intense rock music. The band's tour with Beartooth, The Plot In You, and Invent Animate promises to be a fantastic experience, and Sleep Theory's rise to fame is set to continue in 2024.
