The shores of Asbury Park, New Jersey are set to reverberate with the sounds of legendary musicians as Sea.Hear.Now announces its impressive lineup for 2024. Headlining this year's festival are the iconic Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, schedules for a historic performance on Sunday, September 15. Joining them is the rising star Noah Kahan, who will take the stage on Saturday, September 14, for his first-time headlining set. But the musical delights don't stop there; an array of renowned artists including The Gaslight Anthem, Trey Anastasio Band, The Black Crowes, Norah Jones, 311, The Revivalists, Kool & The Gang, and The Hives will grace the stages of this world-class 2-Day festival.
Sea.Hear.Now isn't just about music; it's a celebration of music, surf, and art against the breathtaking backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. Over 25 artists will perform across three stages, while spectators can witness some of the East Coast's biggest surf legends catch waves between the jetties. The festival includes a professional surf content, where the "North Beach Sessions" pro surfer who catches the "wave of the day" will take home the prize purse. Esteemed surfers such as Balaram Stack, reigning champ Cam Richards, and Sam Hammer are set to compete, promising an exhilarating display of skill and athleticism.
But the excitement doesn't end there. Stoke Henge, located in the sand just off the boardwalk, will serve as the festival's artistic hub. Asbury Park visual artist Pork Chop will return with his iconic jellyfish and surfboard arch, while Ocean County-based muralists Jasen Mack and Tim Sramowicz will showcase their talents on a beach. A special nod will be given to legendary surf photographer Dick "Mez" Meseroll, whose iconic work will be displayed alongside local artists' creations.
Additionally, Bradley Park will host the Transparent Gallery, featuring artwork from participating festival musicians and special pop-up performances. Proceeds from art sales will benefit local Asbury Park and Jersey Shore-based charities, further emphasizing Sea.Hear.Now's commitment to supporting the community.
