In the shadowed corners of rock’s grand theater, where the echoes of guitar riffs and drumbeats linger like spirits in the air, Black Veil Brides have conjured a new chapter in their saga of sound and fury. With the release of “Bleeders,” a single that is both a battle cry and a cinematic experience, the band has set the stage for a season steeped in themes of redemption and revenge.

Andy Biersack, the mastermind behind this eerie symphony, has woven a narrative that transcends the mere notes of a song. The accompanying music video, directed by the enigmatic Jensen Noen, is a visual feast that complements the forthcoming EP, aptly titled “Bleeders,” set to haunt the airwaves on June 21 via Spinefarm.

In a mere whisper of time, the track and its visual counterpart have amassed over 5 million streams, with the single haunting the Top 30 on rock radio like a ghost refusing to be forgotten.

This EP is not just a collection of songs but a chronicle of Black Veil Brides’ journey through the past, present, and the shadows yet to come. Among the tracks is a rendition of Sweeney Todd’s “My Friends,” a piece that holds a special place in the dark heart of Biersack. His childhood memories, cloaked in homemade costumes and performances for his family, have now been immortalized in a video that premiered exclusively via Playbill.

Biersack’s voice, tinged with nostalgia and passion, recalls, “From the first time I picked up my dad’s copy of the original cast recording and heard Len Cariou’s powerful and sinister portrayal of Sweeney, I was hooked on this show.” His dream has now been realized in a rendition that is both a tribute and a transformation, imbued with the unmistakable essence of Black Veil Brides.

As the Bleeders Tour draws its curtains on a successful Spring 2024 run, the band’s allegorical tales of vengeance have taken a tangible form. In partnership with the American Red Cross, they’ve orchestrated a virtual blood drive, turning their anthems into acts of philanthropy. “As Bleeders, it’s our mission to effect positive change,” the band declares, urging their fans to join them in this crusade of compassion.

The band’s origins, shrouded in the dreams of an only child from Ohio, have blossomed into a movement. The visage of Sweeney Todd opened a gateway for Biersack, leading him to the likes of Batman, KISS, and the phantoms of the opera that would shape his destiny.

Today, Black Veil Brides stand as a beacon for those who find solace in the dark, for the “bleeders” who seek revenge through the power of imagination. Their anthems, like “Knives and Pens” and “In the End,” have echoed across the globe, resonating with millions and solidifying their place in the pantheon of rock.

As they prepare to share the stage with Falling In Reverse this summer, Black Veil Brides invite their legion of fans to join them in a dance with darkness, united as bleeders, one and all. This is not just a new era; it is a testament to the unyielding bond between the band and their army, a promise of the most visceral, cinematic, and relentless chapter yet to unfold.

And so, as the curtain falls on this tale, remember: when the lights dim and the crowd hushes, the bleeders will rise, and the stage will come alive once more. The night awaits, and with it, the undying spirit of Black Veil Brides.
