Sziget Festival Confirms Second Wave for 2024 with Halsey and Liam Gallagher as New Headliners

Sziget, Europe's largest and most diverse festival, has just announced a thrilling second wave of acts for its 2024 edition, set to take place from August 7-12 on the scenic Óbuda Island in Budapest, Hungary. Among the newly confirmed headliners are pop sensation Halsey and iconic rocker Liam Gallagher. They join an already star-studded lineup, promising a festival experience like no other.



Halsey, known for her fierce and magnetic stage presence, is set to captivate audiences with her dynamic performances. She has been teasing fans with the release of an exciting new album this year, which she will perform at Sziget main stage. Meanwhile, Liam Gallagher, former front man of Oasis, will visit Sziget as part of the 30th-anniversary of Oasis' debut album Definitely Maybe. Gallagher continues to enthrall audiences as a solo artist and promises a show for the Sziget books, performing alongside other British acts like Stormzy on August 9.


In addition to the headliners, the second wave of acts includes an eclectic mix of artists spanning various genres. Notable additions include:


  • Janelle Monáe: The pop and soul singer, best-selling author, fashion icon, and actress, known for her electrifying performances and latest album released last year.

  • Skrillex: The multi-Grammy winner and electronic music pioneer will bring his high-energy tunes and genre-defying productions to Sziget.

  • RAYE: Fresh from making history at the BRITs with six awards, including ‘Song of the Year’ and ‘Best New Artist’.

  • Tom Odell: The renowned British musician known for his heartfelt performances.

  • Modeselektor: The Berlin electronic duo will dazzle with their innovative sound blending techno, hip-hop, and experimental electronica.

  • : The Danish pop icon will bring her infectious energy and dynamic vocals.

  • Teezo Touchdown and Tkay Maidza: Both known for their unique styles and fearless performances.

  • Yves Tumor: Bringing their glorious glam-rock thrilling presence.


In the same fashion, more exciting performances from Ari Abdul, Anfisa Letyago, Archie Hamilton, Colyn, Editors, Enrico Sangiuliano, Franc Moody, Job Jobse, Kevin De Vries, Kiasmos Live, KI/KI, LANY, Len Faki, LP Giobbi, Mannequin Pussy, Marc Rebillet, Neil Frances, Nico Moreno, NTO Live, Rebūke, Sam Paganini, Sarah Story, Tinlicker Live, and Whipped Cream will take place over the six day event.


CEO of Sziget Festial, Tamás Kádár, expressed excitement over the announcement: "We are thrilled to have Liam Gallagher and Halsey as our new headliners. The lineup continues to grow with more incredible talent yet to be announced."
