On April 18th, 2024, Taylor Acorn makes her way to the Big Apple and performs her Good Enough tour at New York City's The Gramercy Theatre.

A week before the show on April 11th, 2024, Acorn recently released a new single titled "Greener"; which already has reached over 600k streams on all music streaming platforms. As of last year in September, Acorn has released her latest album titled 'Certified Depressant'. Throughout her performance, she played a majority of the songs off the new album including tracks such as “I Think I’m In Love,” in addition to new fan favorites “Good Enough", and brand new single "Greener". Fans were going absolutely feral as soon as she made her appearance on stage, even some were crying from happiness. Before Acorn's set, I have asked those on barricade if they were excited to see her perform and majority of people said how stoked they were and how with most of them said it was their first time catching Taylor Acorn live.

Before the show started, I was asked to pass around orange pieces of paper that were cut into a heart to hold up and shine a flashlight for "Basement", which was released in November of 2023. Fans kept this a secret to surprise Acorn and her band for when this song was to be performed live, but unfortunately one of the pieces of paper made it to Acorn's guitarist. Taylor Acorn has a street team who were also handing bracelets out which symbolized some song lyrics from her latest album. Her community is absolutely astonishing and I have never seen such a supportive street team. Since the song covers such an emotional subject, I was even moved to tears. It was a beautiful moment to witness the reaction the band had on their faces once those flashlights went up and shined on the paper.

From finishing their tour in Australia and immediately continuing their tour into the US, you were able to tell how exhausted the band was, her band, including Acorn but continued to keep the energy going. Guitarist Ricky Jab and drummer Connor Allen both brought such unique energy into their performance. From spinning his guitar, to running around the stage, getting those in the crowd to jump; he definitely enhanced the show. His back up vocals and his flawless guitar solos made this one memorable show. In Acorn's band, a lot of the energy also came from their drummer Connor Allen. As of last year, he has joined Acorn on tour and since then has been delivering an incredible performance to fans. His insane drum fills, drum solos was extremely eye catching, even I was memorized and was amazed by his talents. Taylor Acorn as a whole she delivers such beautiful energy and expresses so many emotion with her performance along with her lyrics; giving fans something to relate to. This has been my second time catching Taylor Acorn and I am someone who loves to listen to heavy metal music but her voice and her talents has touched my heart in many ways I would never expect. It seemed like the crowd and the artist were all just one big family filled with emotion. If you have not yet checked Taylor Acorn out or have seen her live, I would recommend attending without a doubt.
