The Greatest Hits Of Bush Stop In The Great Lakes

Writer's picture: Dakota WintersDakota Winters

It was a hot and sunny evening watching everyone get their tickets with excitement on their face and anticipation in their hearts on August 16 at Michigan Lottery Amphitheater where Bush picked their Loaded Greatest Hits to land in Michigan with bands like Bones UK, Candlebox, And Jerry Cantrell warming up the stage with a solo cup in hand.

Bones UK was first up and they came in blazing with beautiful guitars and mysterious sunglasses blocking the path of the sun with only one mission, to rock the house.

The great Candlebox was next with the energy to kick a door open and slam it shut with a smile playing classics while the girls went wild.

Jerry Cantrell was watched from afar by all especially the other photographers by the soundboard but that didn’t prevent anyone from enjoying the good show! Singing popular songs like “ Would ? “ and “ Them Bones “ with the crowd practically yelling the song back to him making it such a beautiful moment witnessing the community right in front of me.

Bush was coming out with one of the best light shows I’ve seen with beams all over the stage, the drummer ( Nik Hughes ) coming out first to give an introduction and the Bassist ( Corey Britz ) soon following suit with the rest of the band. Starting the show playing “ Everything Zen “ definitely makes it the perfect setlist. Seeing everyone having a great time especially Nik smiling and bursting with joy and Gavin dancing around the entire stage makes seeing them live an amazing experience you can’t take your eyes off of. Overall this entire lineup was the perfect pairing through and through and I can’t express enough how much you need to go see all of these bands if you haven’t already! My time was very much enjoyed as a fan and as a photographer.
