Following the releases of singles "Brag" and "Loud", The Home Team's new song "Hell" is an intense and captivating addition to their discography. The band has put a lot of thought and effort into crafting this track, which is reflected in its overall composition and delivery. The guitar riffs and drum beats are executed with precision and bring a refreshing energy to the overall sound. The melodic elements also hold their ground, creating a perfect balance between aggression and catchiness.
"Hell" creates an intense atmosphere, the track is filled to the brim with groovy yet furious melodies. The song's animated music video showcases hints of nostalgia highlighting video games such as Guitar Hero and glimpses of the underworld, honing in on the overall theme of the track. The Home Team delivers a sense of originality while dousing their sound in catchy hooks that are set to build their ever-growing fan-base.
The Home Team hit the ground running in 2023 with touring, wrapping up a headlining tour in early spring, and joining the stage with acts such as Senses Fail, Don Broco, The Used, and label mates Honey Revenge.
“"Hell" is a big ‘ol’ whopping leap into songwriting territory that we’re very familiar with, but in a completely new package. This is one of those songs that we didn’t really set out to make, but just came together in a great way. We had plenty of “Aha!” moments during the process, and we ended up with a song that we’ve got a lot of faith in. We’re anticipating that this will satiate our heavy music listeners pretty well. .” - Brian Butcher, lead vocalist.
