The best way to celebrate pride is with a Night Out and that’s exactly what Pitchfork and their partner Them provided Maspeth, Queens with this past Saturday. Headliner Tinashe accompanied by five additional musical performances from Zebra Katz, Pom Pom Squad, Lido Pimienta, and Bushwig alongside three fabulous drag queens kicked off pride with an all-night dance party in Queens. The small-scale festival was filled with picture-worthy moments and fantastic sponsors such as bubly. Pitchfork and Them also raised money to donate to the Transgender Law Center and worked closely with HBOMax to promote Human by Orientation, an LGBTQ+ initiative begun by Max. Night Out was not only a concert, but the best pride party of the year. Beginning at six in the evening, the venue was bursting with adrenaline until one in the morning. Lasting memories were made and even more memorable photos were snapped in the photo booth. All in all, every entertainer left their mark on New York City last weekend, kicking off pride week with an unforgettable night out.
