Tropidelic played a sold-out show last night in Buffalo, New York. They charged up the crowd with TobyRaps and The Quasi Kings.
TobyRaps kicked off the night with songs like "Phone Died" and "Psycho Pipe Dream." His energy flowed through the crowd, filling the venue. He may not have made the crowd exercise this time, but everyone was still jumping around.
If you don’t know anything about The Quasi Kings, you should! This Columbus-based reggae band kept the vibes flowing. Their little snippet of Led Zeppelin’s ‘Whole Lotta Love’ rocked the crowd. I would say they have a little bit of everything for everybody. They exude chill vibes but also know how to let loose.
Tropidelic is the main act of the night. What can’t I say about this band? This was my third time seeing and covering Trop. Let me just say, whether it’s your first or 50th time seeing them, they will always put on a great show. James and Robert are like wizards with those brass instruments.
The show was full of surprises too. TobyRaps and James shared the stage on two occasions. James jammed to ‘Predictable Heights’ with Toby. When it came to Tropidelic’s set, Toby shared the stage for ‘Pressure.’ Robert, of Tropidelic joined The Quasi Kings for one of their songs.
Whether it’s an intimate show or sold-out, the guys will always make time to meet their fans. Shown below is a picture of Matt with my mom, my sister, and her friend Jen.
