This year on April 20 and 21, High Water Festival will be having almost two dozen musicians from all over the world to perform at this years festival with Noah Kahan headlining the first night and Hozier on the second night in Northern, Charleston at Riverfront Park from 12pm to 11pm every night celebrating the 6th year! There will be two alternating stages which will allow people to be able to explore the festival grounds while walking to the next stage to check out all the local vendors and more! The vendors will be selling handmade jewelry, leather goods, and of course festival merchandise!
The festival is curated by Shovels & Rope. Make sure you check out the food from local and regional eateries, cocktails, and amazing craft brewery! If you want to experience an oasis feeling; the High Water Festival is for you!
Shovels & Rope is a globally known music duo that started in the Low Country! High Water Festival is one of the top festivals in the region and this festival is known to sell tickets at record speed! I noticed when I was looking on their website that when the tickets were announced, GA pretty much sold out in 24 hours! The two stages that will be used during the festival are called the Edisto and the Stono!
The festival started in 2017 in the same South Carolina area and had musicians such as; The Avett Brothers, The Shins, Dawes, and Margo Price! The festival started due to Shovels & Rope wanting to create an atmosphere where everyone can have fun, enjoy good music, and support local businesses and non-profits in the area!
